1971 Chevrolet Chevelle restored to be a 1970 Chevelle SS tribute. This car has a had a frame off restoration and was finished in Ascot Blue with white SS-style stripes and 15 inch Crager Street Pro wheels. The black interior finish includes front bucket seats with a center console and horseshoe shifter, Dakota Digital gauges, and a reproduction GM Rally steering wheel with a red, white and blue centerpiece. The Chevelle is powered by 550 cubic inch Merlin Urban Assault iron big block V-8 with Holley Double Pump 850cfm carburetor, Brodix intake, Brodix heads, 4340 Crankshaft steel crank, H-beam crankshaft rods, race bearings, forged SRP pistons, Comp hydraulic roller camshaft, Milodon oil pand, high performance Melling oil pump, Weiand water pump, Hedman Hedders, and MSD ignistion. The transmission is a Turbo-Hydramatic 400 with a 2200 stall converter. All this power gets transferred to Moser nine inch rear end with 3.50 gears. To stop it this car is equipped with four wheel disc brakes and Wildwood calipers. This is a beautiful car with a lot of power.
This car does have a rebuilt title do to prior damage. This car had to have some paint correction work done and the front bumper replaced due to scratches from the previous owner losing control and driving through brush. We do have pictures to show the previous damage.
